In January of 2019 the poignant music video for the song, I BELIEVE YOU, was launched to overwhelmingly positive reviews. The song, I BELIEVE YOU began as a poem written by Vali Bennis in response to people coming forward to share their experience of being treated inappropriately. Working with her friend, Karen Jacobsen, a talented singer/songwriter, they turned the poem into a song. Then, Karen Jacobsen performed the powerful song and Vali’s brother, Tony Bennis, collaborated with Vali to produce the music video which involved over 40 performers and crew members. A few months after the I BELIEVE YOU music video was launched, Tony Bennis interviewed the writers of I BELIEVE YOU, Vali Bennis and Karen Jacobsen, as they shared their thoughts on creating I BELIEVE YOU.
