There was an intense storm approaching. I set up my Canon DSLR camera on a tripod on the balcony. Switched it to video. Began recording as the storm rolled in. The thunder was booming. The wind was howling. And then came the lightning – a bolt that electrified Boston. I watched from inside my apartment hoping that I had the camera positioned so it would capture some lightning bolts. After a few minutes I checked the recording and saw I got this majestic, kind of spiritual, lightning bolt. So, no, this is not a photo, but it is a freeze frame of video by Tony Bennis.
